Easier to grab
When making AeroPress coffee I was fine with the standard filter holder. But when I started to use paper filters for Moka Pot and Espresso - it was obvious, that it requires a some organizer for efficiency.
It turned out to be way more pleasant than taking filters from some jar.
It is made of thick steel with powder coating. Which makes possible to use even with metal filters for espresso (puck screen).
