A piece of art

It's so beautiful that doesn't require any description. But here are my first impressions:

It looks quite rough and absolutely represents the name of the brand - Mediterranean Art. Small dents on a body and texture of the tin coating inside makes you feel the energy of a craftsman who created it.

It is very well balanced, which is a pretty rare thing. Because of the solid weight, it stays stable even when not filled with water. Also, the angle of the handle makes it stay firm.

Double spout makes it perfect for use with either left or right hand. It is truly a piece of art.

Perfect imperfections

Being truly handmade means having imperfections, like everything in life. And they give more character to every pot.

Unique

Turns out, this version of Greek Coffee World briki is made specifically for Ukraine. It has thicker walls and incredible inner tinning which stays shiny and fresh for a long time.

I haven't seen a more atmospheric coffee pot yet. If you want to enjoy brewing - you are in the right place.

Copper color change

Sometimes it may arrive in condition which looks "aged". This is not a defect and it wasn't used. It's simply a process of oxidation of a copper. In order to make it look fresh, you just need to use copper polish (or rub it with lemon) to make it shiny again.

Not to the point which is presented on photo, but not as shiny as it could be.

It may look like top left coffee pot on the picture above. And after applying polishing paste and rinsing - it will be refreshed. You can ask for polishing before shipping if you want the shiny look ;)

Q&A

Is it hard to brew?

After watching my tutorial, it'll take 1-2 attempts to master this brewing method once and forever. It's very stable and could be used for all types of coffee roast, from light to dark. But I prefer light roast.

What about the handle?

It's made of brass and it's very comfortable to hold and rotate due to perfect angle.

How much coffee can I brew at once?

1-2 cups. You will need 7-12g of coffee and 70-120g of water.

Are there imperfections on a product?

Yes, it's handmade and will have imperfections. I call them features, they are making every unit unique.

Is copper good for health?

There is a tin layer inside for protection from contact with copper. Be sure not to use abrasive for cleaning in order to preserve it. Also it's important not to fill it with boiling water or place it on heat without liquid inside.

Is copper hard to clean?

Absolutely not. If you want to make it shine, use lemon or ketchup to rub it. Or a special copper polish. But you can skip cleaning it outside.
