Squeeze or Press
It's a first generation of the stand. This time I've added some "ears" for the grip. So that you can use the squeezing technique. There is enough space for comfortable squeezing. I've added them when saw how a rock-climber used previous stand.
But pressing technique (both with chest and just straight arm) will work fine. There are silicone feet which will hold the stand sturdy on the surface. And it is designed to withstand up to 40 kg of force when making espresso.
