geoffrey waldo I was thinking this stand might be flexible or bend slightly. Nope. This stand is rock-solid and pleasingly strong even with the maximum recommended force on the plunger. Supplied with a strip of 4 silicone adhesive hemispherical feet that fit into corresponding dimples on the bottom of the frame. They stay in place nicely and keep the stand from slipping on smooth surfaces and protects the counter or chair. Let’s me check the bottomless filter basket of the Kompresso. Makes the Kompresso a joy to use.
The feet are indeed the biggest update. First version had them but only as an afterthought. And sometimes they slipped a little. Now it is right how it should be - strong and wide enough to fit most scales :)
